Advanced Open Water Diver
Why Advanced Open Water Diver?
The Advanced Open water diver course is a ‘hands on course’ with a small amount of home study, which is reviewed by your Instructor at the dive site before each dive.
The 5 practical dives increase you experience, skills, knowledge and confidence
beyond that developed in the PADI Open water Diver course.
On completion you will be awarded the PADI Advanced open water diver qualification
which permits you to dive to 40 metres / 130 feet.
What will I do?
The five dives consist of two core dives (Deep & Navigation) plus three
‘Adventure’ dives which can be selected from the list of our speciality
dives or from the menu below.
Note: Each dive in the Advanced diver course is the first dive of a ‘speciality
diver’ dive and you can receive credit towards a speciality diver course
which can reduce the cost of the chosen course.
